Thousands march around Lake Eola for Central Florida Women's Rally

In a strong rebuke to newly inaugurated President Donald Trump and his campaign rhetoric, millions of people around the country and the world gathered Saturday in hundreds of demonstrations to support the Women’s March on Washington. The women who organized the march asked "all defenders of human rights" to join them in protecting the rights of women of all races, immigrants, Muslims and people of other faiths, LGBTQ people and other marginalized groups. In downtown Orlando, thousands descended upon Lake Eola Park for the Women's Rally of Central Florida. The demonstrators marched around the lake, at times chanting, "Women's rights are human rights," and, "The people united will never be defeated! The people united will never be defeated!"
