This lakefront Mediterranean mansion in suburban Orlando once housed a zebra farm

Anyone boating along the shore of Lake Lizzie in St. Cloud before 2017 might have come across a truly strange sight.

The massive Mediterranean mansion that sits at 1865 Pine Grove Road isn't particularly noteworthy in Florida's superheated housing market. What lay beyond the Spanish tile roof and extravagant pool area was certainly worth a double take, however.

Behind the lakefront mansion was a ranch that hosted emus and zebras as well as the more traditional cattle. The home was owned by the Munns family, proprietors of the Wild Florida Airboats and Gator Park in Kenansville. When they sold the home for $4.5 million they took the fauna with them.

Now, the home is back on the market with an asking price of $6.5 million. While the interior of stone and warm wood lives up to the steep price, the true value of the home still lays in the land on which it sits. Moving outside of the 5-bed, 4.5-bath's 8,863 square feet, you'll first find a luxurious pool area complete with waterfalls, gardens and a waterslide.

Farther from the house, lies the former ranch, complete with stables. The house sits along 2000 feet of private lakefront and the property hides a guest house on its nearly 22 acres. The home is listed by Miranda Cady of Premier Sotheby's International Realty.
