Stone from Jerusalem, stained glass from Italian churches can’t distract from this Maitland home’s blue agate fireplace

There's a lot to love in this Maitland megahouse of the holy, particularly for the rich and devout.

If you can get around the whole camel-needle thing, this Maitland lakefront house is stunning, with imported stained glass windows from Italian cathedrals, stone from outside the city of Jerusalem and woodwork that evokes quiet afternoons in old churches. It's unlikely any of your guests will be able to get caught up in your spiritual reveries, as they'll probably be fixated on the fireplace.

The incredible centerpiece of this home's main room is a double-sided fireplace that is covered from floor to ceiling in blue agate. The startlingly blue centerpiece draws eyes away from the muted tones of the stained glass and dark wood no matter how hard you try and focus on the nice little touches.

Realtor Shane Mosley of Legacy Brokers tries to brush over the fireplace in the description on Zillow, mentioning it only after the impressive wood, glass and stonework elsewhere. And the backyard pool is a true marvel spilling out onto the nearby lake. But any guests will likely spend their time around the blue waters of the pool talking about your even-bluer fireplace.

The home at 300 Lake Seminary Circle is going for  $3.5 million.
