Situated on hopping Church Street, Amura is well aware that many customers have to come and go quickly during their lunch break. Their choices of sushi and sashimi are extensive and it might take you a while to choose, but we recommend the Nova salmon roll with kiwi sauce that makes each bite so sweet.

Bento’s Cafe

Entering any Bento’s, you’ll find a menu stocked with rice and noodle bowls along with a multitude of bento boxes. Some people won’t notice it, but there’s another full menu with sushi options. Classics are there, but unique spins like the Lust roll will make you believe in love at first bite.

Bonsai Sushi

Small and quaint, this hidden gem offers a packed menu with a lot more filling than other sushi spots. Try the Dr. Phillips Roll with shrimp tempura, avocado and mango topped with mango puree and eel sauce. Large crowds are normal, so definitely make reservations beforehand.

BayRidge Sushi

From the shores of Brooklyn comes this spot, which crowds up fairly quickly. Their menu isn’t numbingly long, making their focus on clean and simple rolls evident. You can always stick to the signature California or rainbow rolls if you’re not feeling too adventurous.

Driving through Lake Underhill, you could easily miss this bomb Korean BBQ place. Although the meats are the main show, they also serve up a great amount of sushi and nigiri options. Their combinations range from simple sets of nigiri to rice bowls topped with sashimi garnished with seaweed and delectable sauces.

Hidden inside a shopping center near East Orlando suburbia, this sushi spot will leave your mouth oozing eel sauce as it drips down your lips creases. Their happy hour has a large range of rolls from the always safe chicken tempura to the crisped-to-perfection jaguar roll. Depending on how much you eat, about three to four rolls can cost you about $14 which is quite the deal.

Izziban Sushi & BBQ

Personal food challenges are some people’s idea of weekend fun and totally acceptable at Izziban. With wine pork belly to beef brisket and unlimited options of sushi like Las Vegas and Philly rolls, you won’t be mad adding an extra hour to your gym sesh.

Located in a small strip mall, you wouldn't expect luxuriously-named rolls to come out of this spot. But the Louis Vuitton roll, filled with king crab and asparagus, topped with Italian black truffle salt and crème fraiche, and crowned with tempura and blow-torched wagyu beef is worth a try. It’s pretty pricey at ($17) but cheaper options are available. Make sure to reserve your seat beforehand.

Disney springs glitzy new restaurant is worth visiting both for aesthetic reasons and the love of ocean’s finest delicacies. With a sushi bar serving up taro, hamachi, fluke and Japanese red snapper, you can definitely try things here you wouldn’t anywhere else in Orlando. We’d also recommend the sticky ribs combining umami flavors and BBQ if you want a filling add on.

Oishi Japanese Restaurant

Sometimes you end up in the touristy part of town with a grumbling stomach aching raw sushi. Oishi is your best bet for quick service and rolls full of ingredients you wouldn’t think to combine such as kiwi inside their Hawaiian roll. They have you covered with classics less than $10.

Although this restaurant excels in their Thai, they still get props for serving different takes on rolls. Their crouching tiger roll is made for steak lovers in the mood for asian with medium sirloin, asparagus and cream cheese. DIY has never been more gratifying than at this UCF hotspot. You can make your own roll, bowl or wrap with prices ranging from $6 to $10. If you're feeling really adventurous, order a sushi wrap then tell them to tempura the whole thing, but be well aware that the workers will scream "FIRE!" as they blaze your entrée with a scorching torch.
