Bygone Spring Break destination Pleasure Island closed down in 2008, much to the dismay of locals and tourists alike who enjoyed imaginative clubs like 8TRAX, Adventurers Club, Comedy Warehouse, Mannequins Dance Palace, Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club and many more. Check out these photos from 1989 up to the final days when the buildings stood empty, waiting to be converted into restaurants and more typical tourist fodder.
