Florida may have lost Mike Huckabee (not sorry), but we gained a Rolling Stone. It looks like rock & roll legend Mick Jagger, 77, and his ballet dancer girlfriend, 34-year-old Melanie Hamrick, just bought a little piece of Manatee County.
According to the New York Post's Page Six column, Jagger bought the house at 5809 Clearlake Ave. in Lakewood Ranch as an early Christmas gift to Hamrick and their 4-year-old son, Devereaux. The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom house sits on roughly a third of an acre inside a gated community, the Lake Club. Jagger reportedly paid $1,980,000 for the 5,726-square-foot home on Oct. 28.
