50 Florida-centric Halloween thrills at Gatorland's Gators, Ghosts and Goblins event

Gatorland, the “Alligator Capital of the World™,” holds its Second Annual Gators, Ghosts and Goblins Spooky Fun for Everyone event on Oct. 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 and Nov. 1, included with the regular price of admission. The family-friendly event is a cross between Halloween and Oktoberfest, with several spooky themed areas throughout the park, a variety of specialty vendors, live entertainment and Oktoberfest-themed food and beer for purchase. The Grim Reaper and other spooky characters will make appearances throughout the park, and the Gatorland Express train has been a transformed into a monster-sized scavenger hunt with eight crypto-creatures hidden throughout the ride -- Skunk Ape, Jersey Devil and Mothman! Also new this year are animal encounters with Gatorland personalities, and a Children’s Halloween Costume Parade on Sundays with treat bags for all kids who participate. Children and families are welcome to come in family-friendly costumes. Approved face coverings are required for all guests.
