It's an "idyllic sanctuary" from the city and from rising sea levels, designed 13 feet above sea level by Max Strang, with interiors and all-custom furniture created by Michele Bonan. The owner is Italian developer Valerio Morabito, who built the one-of-a-kind house to move into before marrying, Victoria's Secret model Vita Sidorkina. He purchased the property in 2013 for $5.6 million, commissioning Strang and Bonan to build and design the canal estate.
In total, 12,700 square-foot interior layout includes seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and three half-baths. The home has an outdoor kitchen, 78-foot pool, terraces, a rooftop deck, a four-car garage, gym, elevator with rooftop access, two media rooms, two guest suites, and yes ... a wine cave.
"The house has elevated expectations and raised the bar," says listing agent Eloy Carmenate of Douglas Elliman, who represents the listing with Mick Duchon. "All the furniture was custom-made for the house. Every piece was personally made by Bonan’s studio. It can’t even be replicated," Carmenate says.
