Phil Swift, the guy who once built an airboat out of screens, covered it with Flex Seal and spent a day in "alligator-infested swamps," just flexed on a huge piece of Florida real estate.
Located at 1275 N. Ocean Blvd. in Gulf Stream (just north of Palm Beach), the 8,643-square-foot house sits on just over an acre with about 135 feet of oceanfront. Besides the inside being "completely dry," as Swift would say, the house has six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, as well as a pool, a smart home system, an elevator, a fitness room, a three-car garage, a built-in generator and a club room.
According to property records, Swift scored the home for a little over $20 million. Devin Kay and Nick Malinosky of Douglas Elliman represented the seller, while Helen Barraza-Fried of United Realty represented the buyer.
The Flex Seal co-founder and pitchman has been hawking his line of liquid and sprayable rubber products since 2011, and has since became a viral meme for slapping on a quick fix to any situation.
