33 awesome adoptable dogs at Orange County Animal Services

If you read our story today about the call for reform at Orange County Animal Services, you know that the county's only municipal open-admission shelter took in more than 1,700 dogs in October alone. The shelter is always overflowing with animals, many of which never find new homes and don't make it out of there alive. As a result, Paul Wean, chairman of the Orange County Animal Services Advisory Board, formed a volunteer group called Pawsitive Shelter Photography to take professional-quality portraits of the animals waiting for new  homes. Here are 33 dogs Pawsitive Shelter Photography posted on its Facebook page on Dec. 9. The dogs only have six days to be adopted before they are put down, so if you're thinking of adoption, don't wait. Go visit Orange County Animal Services at 2769 Conroy Road and meet them before it's too late.
