What would Walt Disney World look like if it were completely abandoned? What if a zombie invasion wiped out most of humanity, a la The Walking Dead, and there were no people to go to theme parks anymore? Michael Feeney, a member of the Deviant Art online community, found himself pondering that scenario, so he created a series of photos illustrating what it might look like if people suddenly disappeared from the Happiest Place on Earth. He says he watched the History Channel special Life After People, which imagined what Earth would look like if people suddenly ceased to exist, and he remembered images of Orlando's abandoned former theme park Spendid China, which was demolished after years of neglect and decay.
"I began wondering what Disney World would look like abandoned, so I figured I'd Photoshop it," he says. "I made a few Youtube videos, and people seemed to be really fascinated by it, so I made more."
