21 scenic shots from the Orlando Wetlands to celebrate their season re-opening

Orlando Wetlands Park closes through the winter, so there's a brief withdrawal period for those who love to escape down Wetlands Boulevard to tiptoe through Alligator Alley and linger in all the bird-watching along the way. We headed out to remind ourselves what a scenic treasure it is and caught some gators sunbathing, a great blue heron fishing out a snack and some beautiful views of the park. If you've never been or decide to revisit, you may want to check out the Wetlands Festival on Saturday, Feb. 21 that's totally free and pretty educational.
