Everybody's favorite in-flight diversion SkyMall, the oddball catalogue of overpriced oddities that nobody needed but many of us were fascinated by, has filed for bankruptcy. The company, which has spent the last 25 years peddling things like automated kitty litter robots and electronic wine openers, says that so many people are bringing electronic diversions onto flights these days that nobody's picking up the publication anymore. "The substantial increase in the number of air carriers which provide Internet access, and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's recent decision to allow the use of electronic devices during take-off and landing, resulted in additional competition from e-commerce retailers and additional competition for the attention of passengers, all of which further negatively impacted SkyMall's catalog sales," the company's CFO said in the company's legal filing. That doesn't mean we won't (sort of) miss flipping through the catalogues out of sheer boredom. Here are 21 things the company sells that you won't be able to impulse buy from  SkyMall after your next flight. RIP SkyMall.  We'll sort of miss you.
