After taking a few years off to sock some dingers into the scrotums of minor league baseball fans, Jesus’ favorite kneeling quarterback was back in the NFL for a very brief moment.
Though he signed a one-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end, the organization announced today that it's officially cut the former Heisman Trophy-winner. "We knew that was an uphill battle for Tim," said head Jags coach Urban Meyer to ESPN, who also coached Tebow at University of Florida. "Players loved him, locker room loved him, but it was the right thing."
The Jags loved the jersey sales, too.
